Eligibility For 2024-25 Stemler Scholarships

• Only students who paid their membership dues to Alpha Lambda Delta prior to March 1, 2024.

• Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher.

• The student's study abroad program must take place between May 1, 2024 and May 31, 2025.

Application Procedure

• Complete the application form, making sure to answer each applicable question completely.

• Be sure your responses are confined to the space allotted on the application form.

• Prepare the supplemental materials. Each application must be accompanied by:

  • Complete transcripts (official or unofficial) from each college/university attended;

  • One letter of recommendation (to be uploaded by the recommender). This recommendation can be from a professor, employer, campus advisor, or ALD advisor. Letter of recommendation needs to be uploaded to ALD’s application portal by the deadline. The application will ask you for their name, position, and email address, which then generates an email to them with a link to upload.

• Touch base with your advisor with questions about the local scholarship process. Your application will be reviewed at the chapter level. If your application is selected by your chapter, it will be approved for national consideration.
