The Flame is Alpha Lambda Delta's annual magazine, started in Spring 1963.

Gifts and Donations

Alpha Lambda Delta has used the Perpetual Fellowship Fund to support scholarships since 1940.

Founded in 1924 at the University of Illinois, Alpha Lambda Delta has been recognizing academic excellence of first-year students for 100 years.

In Defense of Honor

Academic honor societies have been around since 1776, yet to this day they grapple with myths and misinformation that challenge them to assert their worth.

Nationally Certified

ALD has been certified with the Association of College Honor Societies since 1939. We earned GuideStar’s Platinum Seal of Transparency.
